Justine Liberio Joseph is a researcher and a consultant in agricultural science, technology and innovations. Currently he is an Assistant Research Fellow with the Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Research Organization (STIPRO). He holds BSc. Agricultural Education and Extension and MSc. Agricultural Education and Extension both from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), Tanzania. He has research experience of more than six years and his research areas of interest are: Agricultural Science, Technology and Innovations; Agricultural Development Policies; Climate Smart Agriculture; Rural Production and Markets; Value Chains Analysis; Agricultural and Rural Development; Technology Transfer; Agro-Industrial Innovation Systems.

He has been involved in undertaking researches in the following: (i) Factors Contributing to Adoption of Sunflower Farming Innovations in Mlali Ward, Mvomero-Tanzania. (ii) Science, Technology and Innovation for Poverty Reduction in Tanzania: An analysis of the Sectoral Systems of Innovation; Agriculture, Manufacturing and Health Sectors. (iii) Institutional Technology Transfer Policies, Practices and Strategies in East Africa: Lessons from Universities and R&D Institutions. (iv) Closing the Loop: Making Research and Innovation Matter in Developing Countries: Case Studies of Bolivia, Mozambique, Tanzania and Vietnam.
