Are you looking for clear guidance on how to transform agriculture initiatives to become climate-resilient?

The new CSA Guide is a one-stop-shop for everything you need to know. The site covers the basics (what is CSA and why do we need it?) and offers detailed guidance on CSA planning, finance, and case studies from around the world. If you are interested in specific practices, systems approaches or policies, you can dig in via a number of entry points.

The site is aimed at practitioners, decision-makers and researchers who work with or are interested in CSA.

The website was developed by the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) with contributions from experts at the World Bank, CGIAR and many other institutions working on these issues.

The Global Forum has been instrumental in the establishment of the Global Alliance for Climate-Smart Agriculture (GACSA), by helping to catalyze partners’ involvement in the interim Action Groups, alongside CCAFSFAOIFADWFP and WMO. Through regional workshops and national events,  the Global Forum facilitates the input of the research and development community, regional farmers’ organisations, private sector and academia. GFAR has advocated specifically for the empowerment of farmers organizations to cope with climate change through foresight activities, and this is now part of the GACSA Action Plan
