Has your organization joined GFAR yet?

GFAR is the only multi-stakeholder global forum on agricultural research and innovation. GFAR is an open, voluntary forum and a movement for change.

GFAR is a networked organization, made up of Partners working together, through collective advocacy and actions, to shape the future of agriculture and food and their role in achieving sustainable development.

Together we are working to make agri-food research and innovation more effective, responsive and equitable, towards achieving Sustainable Development outcomes.

The Partners in GFAR are growing fast, with strong representation from across public, private and civil society sectors at all levels and among all actors involved in the generation, access and use of agricultural knowledge and innovation.

We are right now in the process of reshaping the Steering Committee of GFAR, which will involve representatives from all sectors, as selected by the different constituencies of partners themselves. These representatives will set out the programme of work for GFAR and be responsible for reaching out and engaging their constituency in the actions agreed. Today, 12 December 2016, is the deadline for your engagement in this new governance of GFAR!

To become involved, simply register your institutional contacts at http://www.gfar.net/about-us/be-a-partner There is no legal or financial implication involved, GFAR remains a voluntary association of partners who share common objectives.

Don't delay! Your organization has to be declared as a Partner in GFAR right now, to be able to be put forward as a possible representative or for you to nominate another organization to represent your perspectives.

We look forward to your joining over 300 other networks and partner organizations that make up this truly global forum.

Best regards,

Mark Holderness,

GFAR Executive Secretary
