Alianza BERAS del Caribe/BERAS of the Caribbean Partnership seeks to promote production, processing and consumption of locally or regional produced tasty, nutritious and healthy food by Ecological Regenerative Agriculture, "Diet for a Green Planet" and Local Learning Centers, adapting and promoting BERAS principles and approach (see www.beras.eu) where adaptative research and extension activites are carried out and demonstrated with participating farmers and consumers, to improve soil fertility, promote water infiltration, improve water quality and protecting biodiversity.
