Currently working as Chairman of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council. Earlier experience include Senior Advisor on Programme Development at FAO Representation in Pakistan; research and development as Chairman of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council and Director General National Agricultural Research Centre, Islamabad Pakistan. Professional interests include Smallholder farmers and pastorals capacity building and skill development, market linkages, technology movement, up-scaling and reach out to stakeholders through participatory approaches like Farmer Field Schools; other end of professional interest include integrated pest management research and practice at the farm level; alternate agriculture, public-private partnership, environment and bio-remediation; women and youth in agriculture
