Experience: Biophsycial Modeling aided by time series analysis & remote sensing data for ecological forecasting using Box and Jenkins ARIMA methodology. GIS and remote sensing software (ARC GIS, ERDAS, ENVI, GS+) for lands use/cover classification & analysis, ecosystem function and structure. Univariate & multivariate analysis (SAS, SPSS packages), spectral analysis and wavelet denoising. Spatial pattern analysis (geostatistics: variogram, kriging & cokriging methods), and patch analysis. Statistical ecology (including alpha & beta diversity analysis.

Research interests: Ecology and biodiversity of arid and semiarid grassland and shrubland , integration of biophysical modeling, developing ecological indicator for monitoring rangeland condition, integrating GIS and remote sensing technologies for ecological forecasting, landscape ecology and analysis, time series analysis.
