I am a PhD scholar doing research on entitled “food security in resource scarce areas and the quest for inclusion of marginal groups in far western region of Nepal”. Major themes of my research include resource scarcity, food security, and institutions. Also, I have been involving in teaching to master’s level student in Kathamndu University. In addition, I am an advisor of Dalits Alliances for Natural Resources (DANAR) Nepal, which is only one advocacy organization on abovementioned themes of the dalit, a very much neglected community of Nepal.

Also, I have 15 years practical experiences on managing projects on natural resources, livelihoods and food security interventions in Nepal including the responsibility of Manager in DFID UK funded livelihoods and forestry programme. Also, I have published half a dozen peer reviewed journal articles in above-mentioned issues. In addition, I have participated and presented papers on one dozen of international conference on the subject matter.
