As Deputy Director General for Partnerships and Communications at IRRI Dr. V. Bruce J. Tolentino has responsibility for a portfolio of operating units at IRRI and is the lead point of liaison between the Philippine government and IRRI.

His portfolio of responsibility includes National Programs Relations, Public Relations, Communications and Publications Services, Development Office, Host Country and Community Relations, Legal Services, Donor Relations and Project Coordination, Events and Visitors Office, and the Innovations Management Unit.
