I worked in State Bank of India as Manager (Agribusiness) for 30 years serving the farming clientele.I am Post graduate in Horticulture,and Retail Management.
My ambition is "How to compensate the opportunity cost of the small Indian farmer"
Presently in India the farmers are resorting to "Crop Holiday" because of increase in cost of cultivation and getting loss by Paddy cultivation. Declaring Crop Holiday is new phenomenon in our country,if it spreads it is major loss to Indian food bowl and leads deficit also.
A Business model to be developed that suits to the small farmers involving small farmers by collaboration.I believe there must strong value attachment to the rural small farmers and urban middle class.
