I am a young Agricultural Scientist working under the Department of Agricultural Research, MALAWI. My Research areas include Molecular Plant Pathology and Plant Biotechnology. I hold a BSc degree from The Mzuzu University, Malawi, and just finished a MSc. Degree from Chancellor College of The University of Malawi. My recent work is on Genetic characterization and Epidemiology of Cassava Brown Streak Viruses in Malawi. I have also served as a Research Fellow (Plant Virology diagnostics) under The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) – Nigeria from June, 2010 to June, 2011 and a Collaborative Scientist (Plant Pathology) for International Potato Center (CIP) – Malawi.
