Co-founded and supported by the Global Forum (GFAR), to specifically strengthen and reform the advisory service and extension sector, the GFRAS platform is now delivering a range of activities to strengthen advisory service providers, and advocating for more effective advisory services as a collective voice for the sector.
In September 2014, GFRAS held its 5th Annual Meeting in Buenos Aires, to share and discuss the evidence and practice of regional advisory services. The Global Forum is pleased to highlight and share the report from this meeting and how GFRAS is now helping to deliver change in this sector, a vital part of agricultural innovation systems.
At the same time we are pleased to announce that the dates and venue for the next annual meeting have been defined: The 6th GFRAS Annual Meeting will take place from 14 – 18 September 2015 in Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan, with the general heading of Global Good Practices!
Registration will open early April. More information will soon be available.
