InterDev-NRM will facilitate international exchanges of experiences notably among the
numerous local organisations that are in charge of providing technical and methodological
support to natural resources management. It has been built as a co-operative information
service with a common shared database filled by various organisations (NGOs, research
institutes,¿) in order to share their practical experiences, lessons learned, success stories and
failures on NRM and agricultural development. The information may have a internal, network
specific elements as well as a component with a public character. So a large part of the
database is made accessible through the Web to any organisation working in the same
domain. Emphasis is put on easy access, site specific, operational data and practical experiences
useful for local sustainable NRM promoted by grassroots development support
organisations.
