The Conclusions and Recommendations call for building up new partnerships and
programmes for the six priority themes addressed during the meeting. They are the result of
the discussions in the various working groups and relate to the expected outputs. Each theme
is introduced by one or more contextual concluding paragraphs. The recommendations are
presented in bullet form, and indicate to whom they are primarily addressed. These proposals
invite the addressees to take action, and therefore represent a framework for Initiatives to be
taken by all stakeholders concerned. In this spirit the Forum¿s President called on all the
Forum participants to launch initiatives.
