All submissions will be reviewed by the Tesco Agricultural team. Ten finalists will be invited to pitch to the Tesco panel and their supply chain partners, with a specially invited audience of investors and agribusiness leaders at the pre-summit Pitch Day on October 15 in London.
One winning start-up will enjoy fast-track introduction to Tesco's supply chain partners and mentoring from Tesco's Agricultural team. They will also pitch their technology again to the influential World Agri-Tech audience. All ten finalists will receive a guest pass to attend the full two-day summit on October 16-17.
The competition is open to all international agri-tech entrepreneurs and start-ups, including early concept solutions ready for development and testing. Solutions are also invited from entrepreneurs outside the industry whose ideas could be adapted to the agri-food sector.
