I am presently working as Senior Scientist (Agronomy) at Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur and involved in research activities related to resource conservation technology for pulse based cropping systems and rice fallow. I have received scholarship for my post-graduation and doctoral degree. I have developed many technologies like crop diversification with off-season pulses/vegetables, intercropping, relay cropping, production technology for protected agriculture, and weed management which has increased the farmer's income and livelihood. Most of my research findings are easy to adopt, low cost in nature and involves locally available resources. I am also associated in release of 15 oilseed and pulses varieties for different zones of country. I am involved in various extension activities through which more than 1500 farmers have directly benefitted. I have published 30 research papers, 8 book chapters, 5 bulletins, 11 extension leaflets and 3 training manual.
