Abstract of the Project
The aim of the project is to develop basic criteria for acclimatization of imported into Kazakhstan foreign cattle breeds of Hereford and Aberdeen Angus to the biotope to the south and south-east of Kazakhstan. The relevance of the project is the development of scientific bases of acclimatization and management of livestock in the climatic conditions of the country. The general methodology - a long term experiment in the natural biotope of the south and south-east of Kazakhstan is based on an assessment of life of the organism to maintain homeostasis, that is, the constancy of the internal environment of changing external environment and reproduce healthy offspring. Expected Results: The criteria for establishment and management of highly productive genotypes Hereford and Aberdeen-Angus breeds in the new biotope. There will be established the level of a science-based nursing and technology content of imported animals and animal's own reproduction. The number of
